DMYFS Announces Sponsorship Opportunities for the Second Annual “Expressions of Healing: A Mental Health & Wellness Showcase”

Durham Middlefield Youth & Family Services (DMYFS) is proud to announce the return of Expressions of Healing, a powerful community initiative uplifting mental health through art, storytelling, and connection. With preparations underway for the 2026–2027 season, DMYFS is now actively seeking local businesses, individuals, and organizations to become sponsors of this growing and deeply meaningful event.

Now entering its second year, Expressions of Healing brings together youth and adults from across Connecticut to explore mental health and wellness through the lens of creative expression. Over the course of the year, participants engage in hands-on workshops led by professional artists and clinicians in poetry, sculpture, music, and visual art. The program culminates in a gallery-style showcase and printed art book, highlighting the voices and visions of our community.

Last year’s event brought together over 130 participants and attendees, featured 140 original works by local artists, and sparked conversations around healing, resilience, and hope. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors and donors, participation was free and accessible to all.

This year, we’re inviting YOU to be part of the story.

Sponsoring Expressions of Healing is more than a charitable donation—it’s a statement that your business values mental wellness, youth empowerment, and creative community-building. Sponsorships help us fund supplies, workshop facilitation, event production, and the publication of the Expressions of Healing art book.

Sponsorship Benefits Include:

  • Visibility in printed materials, social media, press releases, and at the final showcase

  • Brand alignment with a mission-driven mental health initiative

  • Opportunities to connect with hundreds of attendees, families, educators, and civic leaders

  • Complimentary copies of the Expressions of Healing art book and invitations to special events

Sponsorship levels range from $200 to $1000+, with customizable options for in-kind contributions and named recognition.

Join us in making mental health visible, creative, and community-powered.
