5 Minute Solution!
This session is an important part of the
2017 Connecticut Connections Event.
Help us continue our efforts to develop an innovation eco-system in Middlesex County.
“Do you have a business problem you are having trouble solving? The MEWS+ will host its “5 Minute Solution” program at the Chamber Showcase on October 11th starting at 4:30 pm to help you solve the problem. The program will give you an opportunity to have a crowd of your peers brainstorm answers to your most vexing business problem. You’ll have 5 Minutes to talk about it in front of your fellow entrepreneurs, business counsellors and experienced business owners. Then we’ll brainstorm answers to your issue. You’ll walk away with solutions you never thought of!
If you have a problem you’d like to discuss, please send a 2-3 line email describing it to our facilitator Tom Marano, the City’s economic development specialist at email@example.com”, the Chamber’s Jeff Pugliese firstname.lastname@example.org and Marc Gallagher email@example.com who will review the submissions. Don’t hesitate. We can only do 3-4 of these at our session.
This event will also feature:
Networking with local entrepreneurs and high growth companies
An introduction to the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce and its newly created Entrepreneur Council
An open discussion on the creation of a dynamic co-working initiative in Middletown
Ideas from fellow chamber members about how to improve your business!
About the MEWS+ The MEWS+ is an exciting concept that will serve as a key component to the economic development initiatives currently underway in Middletown. The MEWS+ will be a resource for freelancers and entrepreneurs, start-up businesses, small businesses, and the Wesleyan and Middlesex Community College communities. It will be a great place to start a new
company, or grow an existing company. As a co-working initiative, it provides not only a place to work, but also a collaborative working environment. This shared workspace environment will attract a creative class of developers, designers, strategists, artisans, writers, inventors, engineers, and professional office nomads. Our goal is to create a truly dynamic public/private partnership that will fuel local innovation.
