\nThis session is an important part of the
\n2017 Connecticut Connections Event.
\nHelp us continue our efforts to develop an innovation eco-system in Middlesex County.

\n&ldquo\;Do you have a business problem you are having trouble solving? \; The MEWS+ will host its &ldquo\;5 Minute \; Solution&rdquo\; program at the Chamber Showcase on October 11^th starting at 4:30 pm to help you solve the \;problem. \; The program will give you an opportunity to have a crowd of your peers brainstorm answers to your most vexing business problem. \; You&rsquo\;ll have 5 Minutes to talk about it in front of your fellow entrepreneurs\, business counsellors and experienced business owners. \; Then we&rsquo\;ll brainstorm answers to your issue. \; You&rsquo\;ll walk away with solutions you never thought of!

\nIf you have a problem you&rsquo\;d like to discuss\, please send a 2-3 line email describing it to our facilitator Tom Marano\, the City&rsquo\;s economic development specialist at thomas.marano@middletownct.gov&rdquo\;\, the Chamber&rsquo\;s Jeff Pugliese jpugliese@middlesexchamber.com and Marc Gallagher powrpc@powrpc.com who will review the submissions. \; Don&rsquo\;t hesitate. \; We can only do 3-4 of these at our session.

\nAbout the MEWS+ The MEWS+ is an exciting concept that will serve as a key component to the economic development \;initiatives currently underway in Middletown. The MEWS+ will be a resource for freelancers and entrepreneurs\, start-up businesses\, small \;businesses\, and the Wesleyan and Middlesex Community College communities. It will be a great place to start a new
\ncompany\, or grow an existing company. As a co-working initiative\, it provides not only a place to work\, but also a \;collaborative working environment. This shared workspace environment will attract a creative class of developers\, \;designers\, strategists\, artisans\, writers\, inventors\, engineers\, and professional office nomads. Our goal is to create a truly \;dynamic public/private partnership that will fuel local innovation.
