Spirit Airlines Set to Launch New Routes from Bradley International Airport
Windsor Locks, CONN – March 28, 2025 – The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) is pleased to announce that Spirit Airlines is adding new nonstop service from Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) and Nashville International Airport (BNA).
The new flights will operate on Spirit’s Airbus aircraft as follows:
- Detroit: Beginning June 12, operates daily
- Nashville: Beginning August 15, operates on Fridays and Mondays
In addition to the upcoming service to Detroit, MI (DTW) and Nashville, TN (BNA), Spirit currently flies nonstop from BDL to Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL), Myrtle Beach, SC (MYR), and Orlando, FL (MCO). The airline made its Connecticut debut nearly eight years ago when it launched operations from BDL in April 2017.
