Montessori Teacher Assistant

Children's House of Montessori on Camp is looking for a teacher's assistant.

Starting schedule will be at least 20 hours per week.
 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- High school diploma is a MUST. Courses in ECE are a PLUS.
- Patience, empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for children is a MUST.
- Experience working in an early childhood classroom is a MUST.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and colleagues is a MUST.
- Experience working in a Montessori environment is a PLUS.
- Strong organizational skills is a PLUS.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development is a PLUS.
- Currently enrolled in the state of CT's BCIS system is a PLUS.

Must be FA/CPR trained. Will provide training if needed.

Salary depends upon experience and education.
