We Travel The World: Elementary Age
We'll travel the world to find interesting, creative art forms.
Our view of the world takes us to ancient Egypt to create an Egyptian mummy and to France to study the artistic style of Pierre Bonnard who creates a warm and tranquil view of the countryside looking out windows.
Then we are off to the high seas to create waves and ocean waters in the style of Winslow Homer.
Also featured is Abrakadoodle's Artist in Residence and Artist of Distinction, Leonor Brazao. We learn about this Portuguese artist's musical inspiration for her abstract art. We have some whimsical fun hearing a poem about a woman who swallowed a fly as we create flies and other 3-D art forms!
This class is fun for a child that is 6 - 12 years of age. The Buttonwood Tree is located at 605 Main St. in Middletown. No classes will be held on April 15th. Register today!
