The Oil and Cold Wax Experience - An In person Workshop

This 4-hour class will begin with a demonstration of the Oil & Cold Wax medium. It will give the artist the basic knowledge of this medium and how it works.

Artists will learn to prep their paper, mix oil paint with cold wax, basic mark making and textures made with the use of various tools such as stencils, tissue paper, knitting needles, cheese cloth and more. No experience necessary. 

Some materials will provided by the instructor.  Material list for participants to supply provided upon registration. After registration, the material list and syllabus will be sent via email.

For in gallery classes masks are required for each participant and a maximum of 8 people will be allowed to register in order to create social distancing.
