World Consumer Rights Day: celebrating informed choices, consumer power, and everyday actions that protect our planet and shape the future.
We’re celebrating the launch of A Kid’s Guide to Economic Activism for the Climate, the newest book by local Farmington, CT author Kimberly Haidinger and her teenage daughter and illustrator, Luna Hansen. This middle-grade nonfiction book (perfect for grades 5–8 and written for generations to share) introduces essential economics vocabulary and empowers readers to understand how spending money is not just shopping, it's shaping the future of our planet.
This is a drop-in celebration - free and open to all - stop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Fun for the whole family!
