MxCC Foundation Community Partnership Celebration Breakfast

The Middlesex Community College Foundation will host its 2026 annual meeting and inaugural Community Partnership Celebration Breakfast on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 7:30–9:30 a.m., on the CT State Middlesex campus in Middletown. Be part of our community and help recognize those who make a meaningful difference for Middlesex students, faculty and programs.

The heart of the morning features an awards celebration of extraordinary community partners whose support helps transform opportunities into student success. The recipients are:

Business Partnership Award – Wepco Plastics and ARBURG
Non-Profit Partnership Award – Lapidus Family Foundation
Education Partnership Award – Wesleyan University’s Center for Prison Education
Distinguished Alumni Award – Rosario “Riz” Rizzo, Class of 1971

Chris DiPentima, president and CEO of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA), will be the keynote speaker. CBIA represents thousands of businesses, from small enterprises to major employers, across a diverse range of industries throughout Connecticut.

During the annual meeting, the MxCC Foundation board will elect officers and new members for the coming year and provide brief updates on its activities and finances.
