Love Shouldn't Hurt
New Horizons is hosting a Valentine’s Day themed Art Show, “Love Shouldn’t Hurt” on February 10, 2017 from 5-7PM. We are seeking local talented artists to showcase their work in a silent auction format at the Mac 650 Gallery in Middletown, CT. Twenty-Five percent of the proceeds from items auctioned will benefit New Horizons domestic violence services, with the remainder of the proceeds retained by the artists. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your work with the community. Artists will also have an opportunity to be featured in our newsletter and on our website! New Horizons is a 24-hour operational non-profit organization that provides services to victims of domestic violence in Middlesex County. These services include emergency shelter for victims and children, community education, support groups, individual counseling, court advocacy, and a 24/7 confidential hotline. If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact Kelly Tea at teak@chc1.com and submit a photo of your work. The deadline for submissions is January 30, 2017 and space is given on a first come first serve basis.
