Tiare Kahana is a professional hula dancer, teaching artist and yoga practitioner of over 30 years. Raised by Hawaii native parents, she has been dancing hula since her early childhood. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she began her career as a certified fitness trainer and studio manager. After moving to Connecticut in 1987, she eventually started her dance company, Kahana Hula Polynesian Cultural Dance and Entertainment in 2006. Combining her passions for perpetuating Hawaiian culture and promoting the
healing benefits of yoga, through HulaZen Yoga, Tiare helps others ways to discover infinite peace, happiness, and harmony that reside within.
This class is for all levels. Hula noho (sittiing) and Chair yoga formats are offered, so all levels can participate.
