Creating a Seascape - An On Line Class - via Zoom
What does it take to create a painting from start to finish? In this Seminar the instructor will walk you through the process of creating a Seascape painting.
He will talk about how to choose subject matter, lay out the composition and find balance in your pieces. He will share a detailed account of how he creates his paintings layer by layer with techniques that are applicable to most two dimensional media.
How to finish an artwork and prepare work for display will also be discussed as well as tips about how to promote work so that it can be seen.
Teaching Artist Sean Carney, has been teaching art for over twenty years and enjoys making his classes fun and accessible. He will be sure to answer any of your questions to the best of his abilities. All participants are welcome to work along with him on their own pieces and to receive feedback or just sit back and absorb the presented material.
Everyone should provide their own reference pictures for class and have a standard set of acrylic or watercolor paints available for use during the sessions which should include black and white.
