Chester/Deep River/Essex Division
Good Morning Down County!
I am writing today to invite you to participate in the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Division Candidate Forums that will be held throughout the month of October. As you know, the chamber’s divisions are spread out throughout Middlesex County. They almost function as sub-chambers and focus on issues of importance to the local business community in those member towns. This year, due to COVID-19, these forums are being held through zoom.
These are not debates, but forums that are designed to connect the candidates to the business community in Middlesex County. Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and talk about their campaign. We usually limit this portion of the meeting to 3-5 minutes depending on how many candidates attend. The chamber members in the virtual audience will then have the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates about important business issues or anything else they deem relevant. All candidates for Senate and House seats that represent these towns are invited to attend.
Please join us for a meeting of the chamber’s Chester/Deep River & Essex Division on
