Job Title:                           Front Desk Staff  (Receptionist and Security Department) 3rd shift
Reports To:                       Front Desk Supervisor and Executive Director
FLSA:                                  Non-exempt

Summary:  3rd Shift requires attention to securing the building during overnight hours 12:00 am-8:00 am. Monday through Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities during 3rd shift. The Executive Director may assign other duties.
 
 

  • Sets alarm for each evening and disarm the building in the morning.
  • Unlocks doors  and turn on the lights.
  • Observes and reviews security camera for inside and outside premises.
  • Responds to emergencies that come in on security panel. Follow procedure to call 911 when needed. Writes up an incident report and informs department heads with a copy.
  • Post daily menu, activity sheets and notices near around 1st floor elevator area and activity kiosk.
  • During your shift, you may have to deliver the following to residents’ door, newspapers, and  notices.
  • Secures master key at all times.

  • The employee must be able to regularly lift and /or move 10 pounds. Typical items to be lifted and or moved include the following: office supplies, trash bags and chairs, etc.

  • Computer Skills:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to sue office equipment and use of security panel located at front desk.
