Regional Economic Development Workshop
The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and the Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC), will host a regional economic development workshop on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Radisson Hotel in Cromwell.
This event will begin at 9:15 a.m., and will be held immediately following the chamber’s March Member Breakfast Meeting featuring UCONN Head Women’s Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma.
Learn how DECD and CERC are working together to help businesses grow in Connecticut.
Commissioner Catherine Smith will introduce the regional point of contact from DECD, and will discuss the state’s new initiatives to fuel job growth. CERC will present an overview of new business and municipal resources for economic growth.
The event will also provide an opportunity for Q&A, and a discussion on how we can further work together to foster economic development success.
Who should attend: companies, developers, chamber associates and economic development professionals.
The Regional Economic Development Session is FREE to attend, but pre-registration is required.
The Member Breakfast Meeting featuring Coach Auriemma, sponsored by Middle Oak, will begin at 7:45 a.m. and will conclude at 9:00 a.m. Cost to attend is $22.00 for members of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, and $32.00 for non-members. Those who are interested can REGISTER ONLINE.
