Career Fair Workshop "Finding a Job or Starting a Business? They're Closer than You May Think!"
Whether you’re actively looking for work or thinking of starting your own business, the process of understanding what a potential employer or prospective customer find valuable is critical to your success.
Ultimately, true value is determined by the buyer of products and services in any transaction. Finding and fulfilling that need for value is the basis of steady employment or a successful business.
Come to our seminar on understanding the value proposition in the employment market and in the business arena to increase your chances of out-competing your rivals for that new job or business opportunity.

About the Speaker:
As a trusted advisor, Jim Jackson counsels entrepreneurs and small business owners to build something their customers and communities value and use. He also encourages their insights, energy and willingness to jump back after mistakes—essential characteristics for being a business owner—as he guides them through business plan development and execution, leadership opportunities, challenges and decisions.
Jim has nearly 20 years in small business management consulting along with more than 25 years prior experience in product design, manufacturing and management. And in 1996 he co-founded the award-winning Side Street to Main Street Business & Leadership Development Program to help minority business owners in Greater Middlesex County develop formal business plans, and build leadership and management skills needed to start or expand their businesses.
As a “recovering engineer” Jim loves to fix and improve things in the world around him as well as hike and observe nature in the wild.
