Wesleyan University is proud to present the 17th Annual Shasha Seminar for Human Concerns*—Suicide and Resilience: Finding the Words. Please mark September 14–15, 2018, on your calendars to join students, alumni, faculty, community members, and leading experts from across the country to discuss this pressing issue and to examine the ways in which we can better understand and support those who struggle with it.
Discussion topics include: • storytelling and transformation through film • survival and resilience after suicide • suicide risk and the most vulnerable populations • current research and directions for the future • awareness and prevention at Wesleyan Space is limited, so don’t delay!
