BAKERIES

About Us

Sourdough bread bakery & cafe. Through food, we are portraying our admiration for all things fantasy and folk lore, hence the inspiration for the name Fae Folk Kitchen.

Fae folk are mythical beings from another realm, usually expressed as nature spirits, deities, angels or demons depending on what your beliefs are. You will notice their influence drawn from recognizable literature, such as The Lord of the Rings, in many of our products.

Much of what we offer is not only culturally influenced by our European and Central American heritage; but also by some variation of our sourdough levain. While we primarily specialize in bread, you'll be surprised at how versatile sourdough levain is - especially in a chocolate chip cookie.

Which leads us to ''Why Bread?''

Bread is a staple food item in many cultures around the world. Because of the cultural diversity in our lives, personally and professionally, we strive to challenge our abilities and offer a variety of bread products inspired by such diversity.

Like the webbed strands of gluten, necessary for the structural integrity of bread; our connection through food as a community is an important foundation to supporting one another. While we may be a small business, it is imperative for us to be able to give back to our community with our Roll it Forward initiative. You can make a donation to this cause by “paying it forward” with a loaf of bread to a family in need below.

We encourage you to take this unexpected journey with us.
