Choosing home care is not just about finding help—it’s about trusting someone with the person you love most. At Euro-American Homecare, we understand how deeply personal that decision is, and we’ve built our agency around one simple principle: the right caregiver changes everything.

Family-owned and locally operated since 1989, Euro-American Homecare has proudly served families across Connecticut with compassionate, dependable, non-medical home care that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Our mission is to bring purpose, meaning, and joy back into seniors’ lives—because aging should still feel fulfilling, connected, and dignified.

We specialized in live-in care but also provide personalized hourly, overnight and respite care. Our caregivers go through 4 mandatory trainings plus trainings on the specific condition that their client is diagnosed with including memory loss issues. What truly sets us apart is how intentionally we match caregivers to clients. Every morning, our team reviews caregivers and clients, asking one critical question before placement: Why did we chose this caregiver? We don’t assign caregivers—we carefully match them.

Families receive caregiver profiles in advance and choose who they want to meet, ensuring comfort and trust from day one. Safety is non-negotiable. Every caregiver goes through a comprehensive 10-step background screening, and many have been with us for 8–10 years, providing consistency families can rely on.
