About Us
Columbus House serves people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, by providing shelter and housing, and by fostering their personal growth and independence.
Middlesex County services include:
> Shelter & Services for families and single adults
> Supportive Services to Veteran Families,
> Case management,
> Housing subsidy services and short-term rental assistance,
> Outreach & Engagement,
> Warming Center (seasonal)
> Youth services
Families, individuals, Veterans and senior citizens are served.
Highlights
- About 50 families with up to 150 children benefit from the Middlesex Family Shelter & Services each year.
- Over 350 Veteran families in Connecticut benefit from Columbus House Supportive Services for Veteran Families
- Over 2,500 individuals, families, Veterans, and senior citizens who experience homelessness are assisted.
