River Tales; Crowbar: The Smartest Bird in the World

While you’re enjoying the Essex Scarecrow Contest & FestiFALL, swing by the Connecticut River Museum for a fun and educational kids’ program.  The event will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon.

A new program just for kids 4+ and their caregivers, River Tales will include a story, a craft, and an opportunity to visit the Connecticut River Museum. We will read Crowbar: The Smartest Bird in the World. 

After story time, kids will take part in an activity related to the book and complete a mini-scavenger hunt in the Museum.

The cost for each child and an accompanying adult Museum Member is $5. Non-Members are $8.

Reservations are recommended. Children MUST be accompanied by a caregiver during this event.
