Did you know that less than 2% of farmers in Connecticut are Black? The Rev. Douglas E. Lawrence Larry C. Owens Memorial Community Garden is run by Middletown United Fathers, Inc.. They recently gained federal recognition as a farm. Join us in celebration of this achievement and learn how they're supporting the health of our community by growing fresh, culturally-relevant produce.
