Free Family Portrait this Father’s Day at Essex Steam Train!
Fathers and their families alike will enjoy a day of outdoor fun at Essex Steam Train & Riverboat this Father’s Day! On Sunday, June 17th, enjoy a day on our vintage steam train and riverboat as it takes you on a breathtaking ride throughout the Connecticut River Valley.
Train departures start at 11:00 a.m. and continue through the afternoon with departures at 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., & 3:30 p.m. Opt to hop on a Becky Thatcher riverboat connection, available after the first three train departures.
Plus, families get the opportunity to say “cheese!” to our photographer, Richard Roberts of Marsal Studios, who will be on-site to take that perfect - and often elusive - family photo! Just pose in front of one of our antique locomotives, wait 30 seconds, and voila! You’ll have a FREE, 5×7 image of your loved ones in-hand instantaneously, the perfect way to commemorate a wonderful Father’s Day.
