CTrides Drive Less CT Climate Challenge!

The annual CTrides Drive Less Connecticut (DLC) Climate Challenge is coming up soon. This year we?re kicking off the Challenge on Earth Day (April 22) and it will run until May 31st. 

I?m inviting you to join us, along with other employers around the state, to encourage your employees to drive less by taking greener travel modes like transit and carpools to reduce Greenhouse Gases that cause Climate Change. This Challenge is part of a bigger state-sponsored effort to help Connecticut reach its emission reduction targets, so your company?s participation is vital.

We know that many employers like you have taken action to be climate-conscious through the development of sustainability plans and ESG goals. The DLC Climate Challenge falls right in line with that goal and is a great way to motivate your employees to contribute to your efforts to make your workplace more sustainable while helping the state achieve its clean air goals.

 CTrides is here to help you encourage your employees to join in this year?s Climate Challenge by offering several free services, including:

• Organize a ?Try-it-Day? to introduce employees to transit, carpools, or biking

• Host an in-person workplace or virtual event

• Provide easy-to-use information on nearby transit options

• A Climate Challenge Emissions report of your employees' impact from their participation  

And employees who participate will also qualify for valuable gift card drawings.
