Back in 1976, WFSB TV Channel 3 committed to becoming the media sponsor of the Times Farm Camp and changing the name to Channel 3 Kids Camp. It is a partnership that will be celebrated at the 40th Anniversary Gala to be held on Friday November 4th, 6pm at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT.
This once in a lifetime event will feature WFSB meteorologist Scot Haney as emcee and will include open bar, seated dinner, cocktail attire, silent and live auctions, dancing, and surprise guests. Tickets are $150 per person.
A not-for-profit organization, Channel 3 Kids Camp believes that all children deserve a camp experience regardless of financial, physical or developmental challenges. All children are welcome to come together in an inclusive environment to enjoy educational and recreational programs that promote diversity, acceptance and environmental appreciation. Channel 3 Kids Camp is extremely grateful to WFSB for their help in getting the word out to the public about what we do and how sponsors, corporations, foundations and individual donors can help keep the camp’s mission going.
This 40th Anniversary will not only celebrate the partnership of the camp and the station but will help raise critical funds to bring children to camp. For more information about sponsorship opportunities or to purchase tickets, www.Channel3KidsCamp.org.
