Community Foundation of Middlesex County
- NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
The Community Foundation idea is simple one: anyone can be a philanthropist; anyone may use it to give something back to the community. The Community Foundation of Middlesex County represents local people, giving locally to make an impact on the lives of others – not just for today, but forever.
The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is unique. It did not begin with one or two large bequests, but as a grass roots effort with multiple donations from countless caring donors. That vision and dedication paid off as the Community Foundation’s pooled assets have grown to more than $12.2 million as of December 31, 2015.
Since 1997, more than 170 funds have been established by generous individuals, companies, institutions, organizations, and businesses in order to invest in the future. The Community Foundation has provided over 1,564 totaling more than $4.7 million in grants to nonprofit organizations to improve the arts; cultural and heritage programs; educational activities; environmental conditions; health and human services, and so much more.
The Community Foundation of Middlesex County does “Help Good People Do Great Things.”
