Architect/Architectural Designer

Job Description

Fellner Architects, located in East Haddam, CT, is seeking a part-time Architect or Architectural Designer.  As an integral participant of a small firm, each member of the team is involved with all aspects of architectural services.  This includes concepts, design development, zoning and code review, field documentation, preparation of construction documents, and coordination of engineering systems design.  Communications include client meetings and presentations, meetings with Town officials, and coordination with consultant engineering teams.  Involvement during bid phase and construction administration includes meetings/communications with building department, contractors, site observation and field reports, along with review of payment applications and change orders.  This position may also potentially evolve into a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree.
• Minimum of 3-7 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
• Strong graphic, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Creative, problem solving, team-oriented, and self-motivated individual.
• Strong interest in personal growth and leadership skills.
