Coloring for Adults
We’re all stressed these days, especially after a year of dealing with navigating life amid a global pandemic. Coloring has been a longtime popular outlet to creatively diffuse this stress and encourage creativity. We’re not talking about kiddie books and crayolas.
We will work with beautifully detailed books filled with mandalas, floral images, fantastical creatures, enchanting women, entangled designs, and more. A wide variety of mediums are used in this workshop–colored pencils, markers, gel pens.
Participants will select from handouts and experiment with various techniques such as blending and shading using different colored pencils and markers, keeping in mind that all colored pencils are not the same.
Everyone will receive handouts to take away and a package of pencils.
The beauty of coloring is that it can be as simple and inexpensive or as complicated and pricey as you want. Many artists offer samples of their work to download, so with a set of colored pencils, you’re good to go. Experienced and newbies welcome!
