DESCRIPTION:Calling all employers: what are you doing for your employees' mental health and well-being?\n\n\n\nJoin us at the beautiful Glastonbury Boathouse where we will be tackling mental health advocacy and developing strategies to reduce stigma in the workplace. This half-day summit is designed to help employers and HR managers confront mental health issues and develop strategies to reduce the stigma these issues often bring into the workplace.\n\n\n\nThe event will take place at the Glastonbury Boathouse on September 10th\, 2019 and will feature Nationally Certified Corporate Health Coach\, Mettie Spiess\, a leading expert on workplace mental health\, as the keynote speaker. Attendees will also hear from a panel of industry experts providing aggressive fresh-thinking on the topic of mental health in the workplace. In her "aha!" producing keynote\, Spiess will teach attendees how to overcome the fears and misconceptions of addressing mental health in the workplace and attendees will walk away with strategies to immediately support their employees' mental health and well-being.\n\n\n\nAs a bonus\, all attendees will have exclusive access to Spiess' post-event webinar: "Mental Well-being 2.0: Your Next Steps to Protect your People & Your Profits." Attendees will have the opportunity to earn one HR (General) recertification credit hour toward a PHR \, PHR \, PHRca \, SPHR \, GPHR \, PHRi  and SPHRi  re-certification through HR Certification Institute  (HRCI ). This program is also valid for one PDC for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
