SUMMARY:Westbrook Division
DESCRIPTION:Candidate Forums\n\n\n\nGood Morning Westbrook !\n\n \n\nI am writing today to invite you to participate in the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Division Candidate Forums that will be held throughout the month of October. As you know\, the chambers divisions are spread out throughout Middlesex County. They almost function as sub-chambers and focus on issues of importance to the local business community in those member towns. This year\, due to COVID-19\, these forums are being held through zoom.\n\n \n\nThese are not debates\, but forums that are designed to connect the candidates to the business community in Middlesex County. Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and talk about their campaign. We usually limit this portion of the meeting to 3-5 minutes depending on how many candidates attend. The chamber members in the virtual audience will then have the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates about important business issues or anything else they deem relevant. All candidates for Senate and House seats that represent these towns are invited to attend.\n\n\n\nThe Following Candidates Have Been Invited\n\n\n\nState Senate\n\nDistrict 33: Chester\, Clinton\, Colchester\, Deep River\, East Haddam\, East Hampton\, Essex\, Haddam\, Lyme\, Old Saybrook\, Portland\, Westbrook\n\n	Norm Needleman - Democrat - Incumbent\n	Brendan Saunders - Republican - Candidate\n\nHouse of Representatives\n\nDistrict 23: Lyme\, Old Lyme\, Old Saybrook\, Westbrook\n\n\n	David Rubino - Democrat - Candidate\n	Devin Carney - Republican - Incumbent\n\n District 35: Clinton\, Killingworth\, Westbrook\n\n\n	Christine Goupil - Democrat - Candidate\n	John Hall - Republican - Candidate\n	John May - Green - Candidate\n\n\n\nPlease join us for a meeting of the Chambers Westbrook Division on October 27\, 2020\n\nat 8:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nPlease register above\n\n\n\nWe are really hoping to have a strong turnout of chamber members for these important forums. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.\n\nThank you.
