DESCRIPTION:ALL SHOOK UP Inspired by and featuring the songs of ELVIS PRESLEY   Book by JOE DIPIETRO A Shared Stage Productions\, a Vista Life Innovations theater program for individuals of all abilities\, invites versatile performers ages 15 and older to audition for its upcoming spring musical\, All Shook Up.\n\n\n\nPerformers should bring 16 measures of sheet music for an audition song and be dressed to move. An accompanist will be provided. All Shook Up is an American jukebox comedy\, based on a book by Joe Pietro and featuring the music of Elvis Presley.\n\n\n\nInspired by Shakespeare's Twelfth Night\, the musical follows a small Midwestern town that is uprooted by the arrival of Chad\, a handsome\, fun-loving rebel rouser. Love is in the air when Natalie\, a passionate dreamer\, meets Chad and she is immediately smitten. In defiance of their conservative mayor\, they both help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll.\n\n\n\nThe production will run May 15\, 16 and 17 at The Kate in Old Saybrook under the direction of Neil Fuentes.
