SUMMARY:Speed Networking Event with Community Health Center's Public Health AmeriCorps Members
DESCRIPTION:Prior to the Chamber's Business After Work at Wadsworth Mansion:\n\n\n\nJoin Community Health Center's Public Health AmeriCorps members for a Speed Networking Event!\n\n \n\nOne of the ways that the group would like to sharpen their skills and really engage with health and business professionals before they depart\, would be to meet in person for a speed networking event. Americorps members are seeking guidance on next steps (Life after Americorps) and would appreciate the opportunity to ask questions\, be critiqued on their ideas\, and ultimately utilize the valuable experience of our county professionals.\n\n\n\nHealthy Communities\, is a Public Health AmeriCorps Program at the Community Health Center\, Inc.  Our AmeriCorps members are currently very engaged at CHCI and within the community by providing health education services\, patient engagement\, and outreach with the overall goal of increasing health knowledge in the community by improving access to health care. The commitment is for one year and members are assigned to various departments across our agency.
