DESCRIPTION:The Middlesex United Way Women's Initiative is a group of community leaders who volunteer their time and talents to improve the lives of women and children within Middlesex County. In 2018\, we will celebrate our 10th Anniversary of the Power of the Purse dinner and silent auction\, our primary fundraiser. For 10 years\, the Power of the Purse has funded small grants that empower women\, promote financial stability and encourage healthy choices in women and children. All the funds raised go directly to programs that support our vision. Last year Power of the Purse netted over $15\,000.
