DESCRIPTION:The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Business After Work Networking Reception that was scheduled for Tuesday night\, August 16\, at Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook is being POSTPONED.\n\n \n\nJoan Wood\, a longtime chamber employee and the mother of chamber Vice President Johanna Bond\, passed away this week at the age of 83.\n\nFriends may visit with Joan's family on Tuesday\, August 16\, 2016 from 4-5:30 p.m.at Biega Funeral Home\, 3 Silver Street\, Middletown\, and a remembrance service will be held at 5:30 p.m.\n\n \n\nJoan was a beloved colleague and friend to all of us\, and our entire staff and many members of our chamber want to attend her memorial service.\n\n \n\nWe are working with our friends at Water's Edge Resort and Spa on a new date\, and will share that as soon as possible.\n\n \n\nAgain\, Tuesday's Business After Work Networking Reception has been POSTPONED.
