SUMMARY:Middlesex County Revitalization Commission (MCRC)
DESCRIPTION:Connecticut Special Act 93-36 established the Middlesex County Revitalization Commission in 1993 to coordinate the efforts of revitalizing the manufacturing\, business\, and commercial districts of Middlesex County towns\, and assist the cities and towns in developing and implementing ongoing economic development activities.\n\n \n\nConsisting of the chief executive official\, or their representative\, from each of the 15 cities and towns in Middlesex County\, the Commission also includes a representative of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce\, as well as an appointed Administrator.\n\n \n\nIn addition to loans\, grants\, and other financial assistance programs\, the Commission works collaboratively with member towns on a broad range of economic development services and resources.
