However\, entrepreneurs in our state consistently report that they are not aware of most resources that can help them.\n\n \n\nLaunch EZ is working to change that. Since 2014 they have been working with CTNext and the MetroHartford Alliance to develop a web-based platform and database the helps entrepreneurs find people\, programs\, networks\, services\, events and mentors to help them with their specific business needs. The platform currently has over 900 resources and we're growing throughout the state!\n\n \n\nThe Middlesex Chamber recently joined as a Launch EZ partner and we're connecting resources in the region to the Launch EZ platform. If you or your business serves entrepreneurs\, you'll want to learn how you can get involved in this platform! \n\n \n\nCome out an learn how you can promote your business   for free   through the Launch EZ platform. We'll also show you how you can use the platform to connect entrepreneurs to other resources that you may not be aware of.\n\n \n\nThe MEWS+\n\n \n\nThe Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce recently converted the second floor of its Main Street facility into a co-working space for use by our region's entrepreneur community. The chamber's goal is to turn the MEWS+ into a great place to start a new business or grow an existing company. As a co-working initiative\, it provides not only a place to work\, but also a collaborative working environment. The shared workspace environment will attract a creative class of developers\, designers\, strategists\, artisans\, writers\, inventors\, engineers and professional office nomads. This initiative is designed to be a resource for freelancers\, start-up businesses and small businesses\, and the Wesleyan University community. \n\n \n\nThe MEWS+ space includes: \n\n \n\nOver 600+ Sq. ft. of dedicated Co-working space\n\nShared Work Stations & Collaboration Tables\n\nHigh Speed WiFi\n\nAccess to the Chamber Conference Space with Smart TV\n\nPitch Nights\n\nEntrepreneurial Peer Networking\n\nBusiness Mentoring\n\nand much more!\n\n \n\nIn addition to the co-working space\, the MEWS+ is continuing to develop a series of "Meet-ups" in Middletown that will attract businesses and entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes.
