Mental Health First Aid is an interactive\, internationally recognized 8-hour certification course that educates the public about mental health issues.\n\n\n\nVFW Post 583 is sponsoring a FREE course specially designed to address the issues of military personnel and veterans. You will learn a 5-step action plan to offer help to anyone with signs of a mental health crisis\, and connect them with the appropriate professional\, peer\, social or self-help care.\n\n\n\nAll are welcome but preference will be given to veterans and active military service members\, families\, friends\, employers\, and others who regularly interact with service people.\n\n\n\nWITH THE GENEROUS SPONSORSHIP OF VFW POST 583 & UW\, THIS IS A FREE WORKSHOP.
