DESCRIPTION:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Mike Finley (860) 346-1924 October 14\, 2021: Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut to host its 4th Annual Purple Pumpkin 5K Middletown\, CT: The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut is excited to host their 4th Annual Purple Pumpkin 5K on Sunday\, October 31st at the Wadsworth Mansion.\n\n\n\nRegistration begins at 7:30 AM with the run officially kicking off at 9:00 AM. This trail run will be our last event before we jump into National Epilepsy Awareness Month in November! "We are very excited to once again hold this great event at the Wadsworth Mansion that allows individuals from across the state to come together to run for a great cause"\, said Linda Wallace\, Executive Director.\n\n\n\nAlthough we are not able to host an in-person painting session this year\, a limited number of purple pumpkin decorating kits will be available to take home. Please indicate if you would like a kit when completing your registration. All CDC and State COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.\n\n\n\nIndividual registration for the 4th Annual Purple Pumpkin 5K is $35.00. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers of multiple age groups. All proceeds from this event stay here in Connecticut and help to fund the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut's programs and services.
