In addition to its traditional areas of focus\, the council is now also tasked with overseeing the chamber's efforts on transportation and infrastructure. This includes not only roads\, bridges\, rail and waterways\, but the electrical grid\, natural gas pipelines\, broadband and more. The council has also decided to focus on "economic resilience" by defending our members as best we can against the many threats that might face them\, from weather to cyber and beyond.
