DESCRIPTION:MARC Community Resources is excited to hold its premier annual fundraiser at the historic St. Clements Castle in Portland.\n\n\n\nThe tasting event will feature over 10 wine\, beer and spirit distributors\, a silent auction\, passed hors d'oeuvres and pasta stations. Over 300 guests attend the event each year and in 2020 they will enjoy a fun-themed filled evening with contests\, music\, dancing and more.\n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity for businesses and their employees to partner with MARC as sponsors\, volunteers\, committee members and more. MARC's successful events have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars. Funds have provided support to unfunded essential programs and services necessary to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.\n\n\n\nEmployment\, community residential options and social experiences are the foundations for a happy\, healthy and fulfilling life. MARC Community Resources' mission is to empower people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) to make their own life choices and aid in the fulfillment of their dreams - through employment\, housing\, social\, and community involvement and advocacy. We provide a multitude of services to over 200 individuals and their families throughout Middlesex and Hartford Counties. Each fundraiser and campaign benefit the critical programs that would otherwise not be funded.
