Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry CHIP Event
Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry is hosting a CHIP event on Saturday, September 30th from 9am – 1pm. CHIP stands for Child Identification Program, and this is a free event open to all children, which is meant to provide parents with pictures, videos, fingerprints, dental impressions, etc. of their child in the very unfortunate instance if a child goes missing.
Each child will leave the event with a “Purple Pack” – which includes a DVD interview of the child, a digital photo, fingerprints, a dental impression, and a cheek DNA swab. All of these materials will be given to the parent to go home with and none will remain property of Sweet Tooth or the Freemasons. To date the CT CHIP program has held over 350 events and has provided the parents of more than 40,000 children with identification packets.
There will be face painting, balloon animals, plenty of snacks and beverages, as well as raffle prizes and goodie bags for all the children who participate. The event is completely free of charge, and patients and non-patients are all welcome to stop by!
