“WINTER FITNESS?…TRY DANCE FITNESS!”
Danielle Rich from DanZa Fitness will be our hostess and instructor for the evening. She opened her business last Fall after teaching at other facilities for a number of years and now she has fulfilled her dream of having her own business! Be sure to wear casual clothes and flat shoes or sneakers!
DanZa Fitness is a group exercise studio that specializes in dance fitness! Here are some examples of the classes DanZa offers clients:
· Zumba® – Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included. Approximately 14 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 140,000 locations across more than 185 countries.
· Zumba® Toning - The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba®Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!
· Barre - Balanced Body Barre class is a low-impact yet toning-intense work out that uses both the ballet barre and mat floor work to train your body like a dancer. Lots of leg and ab exercises along with a steady pop soundtrack keeps you moving during this one hour speciality class. Personal instruction and guidance is offered to maximize your experience, and no two classes are ever the exact same!
· Fierce FUNk™ - is a cardio Hip-Hop party! Build up basic hip-hop dance moves to create a routine that will have you sweating by the time our hour together is over. Fierce FUNk™ uses an old and new school hip-hop soundtrack along with vocalography (Woot Woot!) in this fun, energetic and addicting dance fitness work out.
