CONNSTEP's October Manufacturing Forum Invites Manufacturers to Shape Their Future
CONNSTEP, Inc. is hosting a manufacturing forum to help business owners shape the future of their companies by gaining insight into what drives value and how to assess their current state of operations. The event, featuring keynote speaker Chuck Richards, founder of CoreValue Software, and a panel of industry experts, “In recognizing October as manufacturing month, we are offering business owners valuable insight into the business climate that will affect them within the next two to five years,” says Bonnie DelConte, CONNSTEP’s president. “We’ve enlisted leading industry experts to help our manufacturers understand what drives a successful business and what they can do to increase the value and strengthen their organizations,” she adds.
Richards will focus on the opportunities and challenges business owners – nationally and locally – face when operating and sustaining a manufacturing company. Attendees will learn the difference between what their businesses are worth - and what they could be worth and will explore key business drivers that can be maximized to add value to their businesses while making them attractive to buyers or transitioning the business to a successor when retirement age arrives.
The event lineup also includes a panel discussion moderated by Bonnie Stewart, CBIA’s Vice President of Government and Public Affairs and General Counsel. Panelists will share their expertise in the fields of venture capital; human resources and demographics; business brokerage including purchases, sales and family business issues; market and customer diversification; and business development.
